I am currently working as a User Experience Designer
on Avalara's Platform team leading designs for GenAI and help experience. I was also the lead designer for global onboarding, setup and notifications.
In my role, I regularly engage with multi-disciplinary stakeholders including product, engineering, and executive leaders to deliver designs that meet business and user goals.
In my Master’s study in Human Centered Design and Engineering
at University of Washington, I expanded on my knowledge of the UX methodologies and theories. In addition, I had the opportunity to work with various companies to create well researched designs using the design process. The most interesting part of my studies was the opportunity to study how to design for Extended Reality (VR and AR) experiences.
Before moving into product design, I worked in user research
for three years at Forrester in Boston, Massachusetts, where I evaluated user experiences for Fortune 500 companies using heuristic reviews, user testing, and both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
A few of my interests
Hike, camp and explore the beautiful mountains in the PNW with my husband and my dog, Sugar!
Tennis and giving in to pickleball
Trying new things!
